House Leo Arcanus

Personal work

Arcani are magic wielders with tremendous potential and power. They are always blind, their eyes burned from the stress that channeling arcane energies through a human body has. However their magic powers allow them to ‘see’, in most cases allowing them to sense danger or other threats much better than a normal human. While they commonly serve as battle mages, Arcani also have the honor of being standard bearers. The standards themselves are sacred relics of the legion, and are magical conduits that allow the Arcanus bearing it to tap into a deeper reserve of energy to create impenetrable shields or disintegrate enemies with a blast of arcane fire or lightning.
